A double process, with the best of both worlds

Working with twins meant that the whole family was involved in this process, as both students had very differing needs for their university search. With one looking solely at the US and the other combining US and UK, careful management of workloads was needed. Some complicated US Early Decision processes were also involved, including an ‘early early’ application to Wake Forest University and then a second go at Early Decision to Northeastern.

In the end, both students chose to attend the same university, as part of the NU-in programme at Northeastern in Boston, but commencing the studies with a first semester abroad in two different locations. This enabled the students to start university independently and form their own networks away from the other, but then see out the remaining time at university with each other’s support on the Boston campus.
