The Prospectus

I wanted to thank you for all your help, guidance and support throughout this process. My brother and I wouldn’t have been able to get through this without your continued support throughout this past year and especially this last week as I waited to hear back.

I have been accepted to UCLA, UCB College of Chemistry and Harvard University! I cannot believe it! None of this would have been possible without your constant support throughout this stressful and confusing journey that we began with you almost three years ago. Thank you for your flexibility with the way I work, your instantaneous feedback and responses, your honesty in your feedback, and your belief in me. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

We would like to thank you once again for your support and guidance in preparing our family, especially our son, for his US and UK University applications. As a result, our son got offers from nine first-choice colleges and universities in the USA and the UK and was able to select the university that best suited him. Since this is a rather intense process, your continuous guidance throughout was crucial.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you as A got an offer from Bocconi today!! After all that hard work and all those obstacles that were put in our way - it is outstanding, and we are very proud of him. We could not have done it without you and all your determination, knowledge and perseverance, and extra hours, so a big heartfelt thank you from all of us!! You were instrumental in the whole process! It would not have happened without you.

We contacted Melanie at a time when our son was confused, had just changed school and one of his A Level subjects, and had no idea about his future. Melanie patiently explored with us all possible alternatives, guided us, provided precious information about universities and courses both in the UK and abroad, and, when our son finally decided on a path, helped us with the applications.

We are delighted to share our wonderful experience with University Guys. When our daughter was faced with the task of choosing the right university, we turned to University Guys for help, and it proved to be the right decision.

The University Guys were worth every penny! They walked us through the entire process - learning about our daughter's interests, recommending options, talking through them to narrow down the choices (including realistic assessments of whether our daughter was a strong candidate at various schools), advice and strategies on the applications, assistance with timing issues, etc. etc.

I worked with The University Guys for over two years on my applications to the US, and they were brilliant throughout every stage of that journey. From determining which colleges were the best fit for me; helping build my profile to thoroughly editing and polishing my final essays, they have been fantastic. They were always on call if I had any questions throughout the application process, and weekly meetings ensured that I progressed at the right rate for all my applications. I truly wouldn't have been able to do it without them.

Now that we’re back and things are settling in, we wanted to take the time and say thank you to you and Brandy for all the help and guidance during the application process for our son. We had high expectations for what you could offer our family but your professionalism, patience and incredible knowledge far exceeded anything we were expecting. The gift you have with children and parents is truly amazing. You bring peace in a time of extreme anxiety and knowledge in a time of confusion, all of this while making your clients feel cared for and understood.

Working with The University Guys was a great decision. They really helped me excel in all aspects of my application, ensuring that I had the best chance of success. Although I did not get into my first, Bates College is now my first choice, and I thank David Hawkins for all the incredible advice, guidance and resources he provided along the way. Looking back on the application process, I definitely could not have navigated it without The University Guys.
